But where do all the wires go and what do they do?! Y4 have been learning about computing connections, routers and private networks. We were able to think about which emails we would block and look on familiar web pages to see what we could find out.

Year 5 were lucky enough to have Mr McKay in to learn about his Scottish Hertiage and culture. We got to try on traditional Scottish dress and learn about family clans, tartan, food and first-footing. What a great way to start our new topic on Scotland!

It's been fabulous to celebrate Apple Day with Woodlands Church Garden over the last two days! The children had the chance to explore the garden, taste some different varieties of apples and sample some of the fresh juice! The community garden is a fabulous place that is open to the whole school community - families are always welcome to visit but children should be accompanied and not go alone.

We love these brilliant skeletons from Year 3! The children have been learning about the human body, labelling some of the major bones and understanding how bones both protect important organs and allow our body to move around!
