Who says SATs revision can’t be fun? This afternoon, Year 6 played The Traitors while revising punctuation and grammar. The traitor had to try and convince the faithful to answer questions incorrectly. It was lots of fun and there were plenty of excellent grammatical discussions going on!

5BH have had a fabulous day at the Yorkshire Museum! They spent the morning handling viking artefacts and stepped back in time through completing the Odyssey challenge using warp decks (iPads). They then had a wonderful lunch in the museum gardens, explored the rest of the museum and watched a Roman performance.

Year 5's resilience and problem solving was tested to the maximum this week in DT! After building our chassis and adding the mechanical components, we added the electrical components to our electric cars. It’s safe to say it took a LOT of troubleshooting but was so fun and rewarding to see them in action!

Reception had a brilliant visit to Harlow Carr today, exploring the grounds, planting their own seeds and (of course) playing on the equipment. We even managed to dodge the rain! Special thanks to the RHS staff for supporting our visit and the parent helpers who made it possible!

Year Three conducted an experiment with shadows yesterday. The children observed and recorded what happened when they moved the torch closer and further away from objects and even a person! The children made predictions and used their rulers to measure the distance and the width of each shadow.
