So impressed with the effort and attention to detail Year 5 have shown creating these sculptures based on Edgar Degas' Little Dancer Bronze. The children really enjoyed putting the finishing touches on their sculptures this afternoon and worked hard to support each other cutting fabrics, netting, wool and ribbons to add the finishing details!

Reception were so excited to keep an eye on their resident caterpillars and see if they transformed into butterflies overnight, so we set up a time-lapse video for them to watch. We were amazed at just how much the caterpillars moved around! No butterflies just yet, but some have now started forming their chrysalides
