What an amazing experience for our singers! A huge thank you to Mrs Braithwaite, Mrs Bennion, Mrs O'Brien and the parent volunteers who supported us! We're on the coach and on our way back to school. We hope to be back for 10:30pm and will send out a text message if this changes. The school car park will be closed to keep the site safe, please do not try and park in the school. We will use the pedestrian gates on Wetherby Road for you to collect your children.

Year 4 have had the most fantastic visit to Royal Armouries today. As well as seeing the exhibits and exploring the galleries, the children got to take part in workshops; a story retold by an Oracle, and a Spartan warrior training camp!

We were very lucky to welcome Mrs Hassan to talk to Year 5 today about Islam. We learnt about the 5 pillars and got to ask some really thoughtful questions. Mrs Hassan kindly gave each child a bookmark with their name in English and in Arabic and also brought dates for us to try as she explained how Muslims break fast over Ramadan.

Reception love large-scale play! This week we have enjoyed using boxes to create dens and using our imagination to create stories within our play. We use ‘big drawing’ to support the development of core muscles including arm and shoulder muscles which help us get ready for writing. The children enjoy drawing alongside their friends and chatting as they work their way across the paper!
