Both of our Year 4 classes took part in a local area walk to investigate the amount of litter and the impact it is having on the streets where we live. The children practiced their map-making skills, planning and following a route and marking the litter, bins and recycling areas they found along the way.

In our assemblies today we read the brilliant "Ruby's Worry", which reminds us how important it is to talk about our worries. This year each class has got their very own Worry Monster to help children who might not be confident enough to speak to an adult face-to-face. Children can write their name/worry on a piece of paper and feed it to their class monster. Teachers will check these each day to make sure every child's voice is heard. Which monster is your favourite?
